JHS are pleased to announce two new vacancies based at their Garforth, Leeds, United Kingdom Head Office.
Sales Office Representative (Export)
Reporting to the Export Sales Manager and working with the Sales Office Team Leader the role revolves around selling a wide range of categories of musical instruments and associated merchandise to the Company’s export retailer and trade distributor customers.
This interesting and dynamic front line sales role encompasses working as part of our head office sales team to drive sales through telemarketing, face to face sales visits and other customer engagement, prospecting, problem solving and query resolution, conducting market research, social media and e-mail campaigns, engaging in customer webstore development and generally being the point of first contact for a group of the Company’s customers for all product and sales related activities.
Literacy, numeracy, competence with MS Office applications, ERP systems and CRM generally and a working knowledge of all aspects of e-commerce are pre-requisites.
Essential attributes are well-developed preparation, administrative, organisational, and time management skills, the ability to work well independently and as part of a team, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to be an engaging and adept communicator capable of presenting and closing sales at all levels, both in telemarketing and face to face, in an intensely-competitive sales environment.
Preference will be given to applicants with sales office experience in a consumer goods B2B telemarketing environment and who have additional industry specific experience such as being a musician and/or have music products industry or category knowledge and/or experience of musical instruments and PA equipment. Although head office based, the role will require periodical domestic and international travel and the possession of a full driving licence.
Foreign language skills would be an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,500.00-£30,000.00 per year

Administrative Assistant (Sales Office)
Based at our Garforth, Leeds, United Kingdom Head Office, we are recruiting for an Administrative Assistant for our busy sales office.

Reporting to the Sales Office Team Leader, the role primarily involves proactively working with the Company’s Sales Department providing administrative support including order input and processing, and customer engagement in our busy and vibrant trade sales office, undertaking enquiry response, query resolution, trade customer relations and working in conjunction with the Company’s sales team and other departments, nurturing trade relations and maintaining high levels of customer care.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, literate, numerate, competent with MS Office applications ERP systems and CRM, work well in a team and independently, with direct experience in a business-to-business office environment. An understanding of musical instruments would be an asset.

Salary: From £17,862.00 per year
