Andy Hughes has been a professional freelance journalist for almost forty years. He has contributed to over one hundred titles around the world, including NME, Melody Maker, Zig Zag, Kerrang!, Creem, Downbeat, and too many others to mention.
In his career, Andy has covered virtually every style of music and has written extensively for technical magazines including Musician and Recording World, Acoustic, Drummer, Guitarist, Guitar Buyer, and Rhythm. He currently contributes to a number of technical magazines and websites.
Resident in the Midlands city of Stoke-on-Trent, Andy remains in convenient reach of most of the major cities in the UK, and can be in London in less than two hours by non-stop train.
As an all-round music and technical writer, Andy brings a wealth of experience to his new role within MIN, and is looking forward to establishing links with new companies and individuals in the instrument and equipment industries, and renewing links with some existing contacts.
