DIGITAL CONTENT CREATOR / VIDEOGRAPHER – MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
Award winning wholesalers and distributor of quality musical instruments Barnes and Mullins, established in 1895, are currently seeking a Digital Video Creator to join their team in Oswestry.
Do you love music? Can you play a musical instrument? Can you make compelling video? Are you confident when talking to people and can you present to camera? Can you take the raw video, edit it into watchable content and upload it in the right format to the right place? Do you know what distinguishes Tiktok, YouTube and Instagram? Can you write about music gear too? Do you want to spend your day making videos about Guitars, Basses, Amps, Saxophones, Violins and other music gear?

This full-time role, based in our Oswestry, Shropshire headquarters, will offer the right candidate a great opportunity to help shape the video content offered by Barnes & Mullins’ own-brands and distributed brands. You will become a member of the Marketing department, working alongside a small but multi-talented team of a Marketing Executive and a Web Developer, reporting to the Marketing Director. You will help specify and equip the location in which filming and editing will take place, plus have significant input on the look and feel of any filming environment.
The instrument brands you will be working with include:
Faith Acoustic Guitars, Shergold Guitars, Rathbone Guitars, Spector Basses, Aguilar Bass Amps, Peavey Amplification, Hidersine Violins & Cellos, Yanagisawa Saxophones, Trevor James saxophones.. and many more musical brands and accessories.
You will be suited to this role if you:
- Love making videos, from beginning to end.
- Enjoy explaining great music gear in an articulate and concise way.
- Are happy to take instruction but able to work on initiative.
- Have experience of working in a similar environment or on similar projects.
- Are familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office applications and have a good understanding of the inner workings of all major social media channels.

Salary:
Approx. £24,000 pa negotiable depending upon experience.
