Austrian microphone maker Lewitt is set to unveil a new model at this month’s NAMM show. The LCT 441 FLEX is a 1″ multi-pattern design, following in the footsteps of the highly regarded LCT 440 Pure but at a more affordable price.
The 1″ true condenser microphone offers eight polar patterns to choose from, including three reverse polar patterns that allow for higher flexibility without moving the mic. The package includes shock mount and magnetic pop filter. No UK price has yet been announced but in the USA it will sell for $399 MAP.
Meanwhile, UK distribution for Lewitt is now being distributed by Nick Longland. Formerly distributed by JHS, Longland now handles sales in the UK, supplies coming direct to retailers from Lewitt in Vienna.
