UK and ROI distributor JHS has announced the introduction of The Master 97 Alto Saxophone by the French manufacturer P. Mauriat. According to JHS, the Master 97: ‘ represents a new chapter in design and construction for P. Mauriat. The Master 97 is a fully professional saxophone which employs a redeveloped body design, in addition to numerous ergonomic upgrades, resulting in an instrument of incredible musicality and playability’.
The revised body tube design is paired with a Gold brass Super VI neck; the instrument also features Sterling silver octave pipes, mother of pearl Key Touches, Pisoni Pro pads and blue-steel springs for enhanced performance and visual appeal. As with all P. Mauriat saxophones, the Master 97 ships with the BG Super Revelation Ligature.
The Master 97 is finished with a luxurious Gold Lacquer and is available as either an Alto (RRP £3,299) or Tenor Sax (RRP £3,899), and each instrument comes complete with a soft contoured case.
