Designed for advancing students through to intermediate players, the Trevor James EVO Baritone Saxophone combines impressive tonal quality with affordability. Incorporating design elements from both the acclaimed SR series and professional Signature Custom range, the EVO features a specially formulated brass alloy containing 68% copper, producing a rich, full-bodied tone with excellent projection and durability.
Each EVO Baritone Saxophone features a handcrafted, hammered and voiced bell, improved neck design for enhanced intonation and response, redesigned needle springs for faster key action, and a new pivot screw system to minimise wear and unwanted movement. Additional features include natural shell pearl and abalone touchpieces, double key arms on the low C and C# keys, ergonomic table key design and adjustable regulating screws for precise setup and long-term reliability.
Available in four finishes – Gold Lacquer Gloss, Gold Lacquer Matt, Black Plated Gloss and Black Plated Matt – each EVO model is supplied with a TJ Z8 Series mouthpiece, ligature and cap, neck strap, cleaning accessories and a newly designed shaped case. Featuring high-quality stainless-steel springs, comfortable thumb rests, leather pads and metal reflectors, ‘The Horn’ delivers a versatile, focused tone with excellent clarity and response throughout the instrument.
