Vader Sound marks its inaugural appearance at this year’s 2026 NAMM show, led by company founder and music industry veteran Paul Smith, who has been walking trade show aisles around the world for decades.
Launching in December 2025 as a Father-and-Son duo with Billy Smith, Vader Sound, has the energy of a new business and the wisdom of a seasoned pro.
Having deep roots, immense respect, and an institutional knowledge of the music industry, Paul Smith has helped develop world-renowned MI brands such as Vintage Guitars, Encore, Odyssey and Kinsman, as well as partnerships with major international names including Danelectro, Graphtech, Fishman, Godin, Xvive Audio and Supro
With experience of product development, brand management, artist relations, and international sales, Paul Smith has gained immense respect, an institutional knowledge of trade shows, product distribution and the music industry itself.
From their base in the North of England, Paul and Billy operate as an extension of each brand’s team providing hands-on strategy, deep marketing knowledge, and a multi-channel approach for long-term success, whilst strengthening customer relationships and brand value.
