Whilst the one-touch recording is invaluable for all kinds of musicians and creators to record sounds ‘on the go’, advanced features that include Auto-Record, Pre-Record, Self-Timer functions, a Slate Tone generator for film making with DSLR/video cameras, Overdubbing, Low Cut, Gate, Compressor, Limiter and variable playback Speed Control, add depth, versatility and freedom within pre/post recording and editing on computers or via the large pin-sharp display screen.

   

The XV1-R’s built-in stereo microphones are optimised to capture a wide range of sounds, with advanced technology that minimises background noise, and the ability to record extremely high sound levels amiss of unwanted distortion, whilst supporting up to 96 kHz audio in 24-bit int or 32-bit float WAV, or AAC-LC / HE-AAC lossy formats, with dedicated 1/8″ (3.5 mm) stereo jack sockets taking care of Mic/Line In and Line Out duties.

Operating for up to 12 hours on 2 x AA alkaline, 1.5V lithium or NiMH rechargeable batteries, or USB power, the XV1-R records directly to MicroSD cards between 2 GB and 128 GB, doubling as an audio interface via the USBC port to download files to computers without the need for additional drivers.
