Esteemed music educator and conductor Mandy Boonshaft is making her affiliation with the KHS America family of brands official, as an educational artist for Jupiter and Azumi, and endorser of Hercules stands. Boonshaft, acclaimed conductor of the Nassau-Suffolk Performing Arts Honor Band, brings a wealth of invaluable experience to the KHSA Academic Alliance family.
Boonshaft holds a B.S. in Music Education and an M.A. in Wind Conducting from Hofstra University, where she distinguished herself as a Graduate Conducting Associate. Her influence extends globally through her roles as a guest conductor, clinician, and presenter at the Sydney Music Educators Conference and adjudicator for the Australian School Band and Orchestra Festival.
Under Boonshaft’s direction, her bands consistently excel, earning top ratings at festivals and performing at prestigious events. She admires Jupiter and Azumi Instruments for being a crucial part of these successful performances, stating, “They are reliable, boast a full, rich tone, and are enjoyable to play for students and teachers alike. The ease of play and accurate intonation are unrivaled.”
“This partnership is a testament to KHS America’s dedication to enriching lives through music. Aligning with esteemed educators like Mandy enables us to support individuals who share our beliefs…that music matters!” say John Richardson, Artist & Educator Relations Manager for KHS America.
