The ever-popular ASAT model from G&L Guitars has two new Tribute Series additions. Leo Fender’s final version of his iconic design speaks to his tireless search for something extra from each iteration of this timeless design.
The Tribute Series ASAT Classic BluesboyTM is now available in a rich Candy Apple Red. Featuring a Poplar body as used in many of Leo’s original models, the Bluesboy sports a smooth satin finished maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. An MFD single coil pickup provides bite, clarity and twang in the bridge position while a G&L Alnico humbucker gives a broad, warm and rich tonal palette in the neck position.
The Tribute Series ASAT Deluxe Carved Top is now available in Bright Blueburst over a stunning, bound, contoured, Flame Maple Top. The tone starts with Leo Fender’s Saddle Lock Bridge which provides stability and sustain by the bucket load. Powering the natural voice of the guitar are 2 G&L Alnico Humbuckers. The satin neck with rosewood fingerboard make this guitar a true joy to play, and the look is completed by the black headcap.
