Samsystems UK and Mission Engineering USA sign OEM partnership.

British company Samsystems 2012 Ltd. has announced an OEM partnership with California based Mission Engineering Inc resulting in the innovative Samsystems ‘Integral’ close-cab miking product being available on all Mission Engineering’s popular Stagecraft Series of guitar cabinets.

Available for 10in or 12in speakers, the UK designed and developed Integral is a quick ‘fit and forget’ product that eradicates the problems associated with miking up a guitar speaker cabinet or combo. The Integral super cardioid ‘live microphone’ (fitted between the speaker and the grill), delivers what the maker claims is ‘the true analogue sound’ from the speaker to the monitors and mixing desk every time. Benefits include no stands on stage, no overspill, no power supplies and a speedy band set up and break down.

Mission Engineering‘s CEO James Lebihan says: ‘The Samsystems Integral is a great idea, and I’m surprised no one thought of it before. I keep coming up with new uses for it, such as testing, recording demos, and performing frequency analysis, in addition to just being able to easily record the cabinet sound.’

Founder and Technical Director at Samsystems Richard Smiths adds, ‘Today’s announcement is a key milestone in our strategy to deliver an alternative, problem solving concept in close-cab miking for musicians around the world.

‘We are indeed delighted for this opportunity to be in partnership with such a professional and innovative company like Mission Engineering in the USA. This is an excellent start to 2019 and we hope our customers will be as excited by this announcement as we are and attracted by the benefits of the Integral.’

Samsystems will be at the Mission Engineering stand at the Winter NAMM 2019 show in Anaheim, California January 24/27th.…Stand 4453.
