TC Electronic reboots TonePrint app

TC Electronic has released a new and improved version of its free TonePrint app. The TonePrint technology allows guitarists to personalise their TonePrint pedals by accessing hidden parameters, making practically every aspect adjustable.

The new app is in essence a merging app with the TonePrint Editor, letting guitarists tweak their TonePrint pedals directly from their iPhone – an ability previously exclusive to the editor for desktop.

‘We’ve been working on expanding the TonePrint concept drastically for some time now, and the new app is part of the preparations for that,’ says product manager, Tore Lynggaard Mogensen.

According to Mogensen, more updates are already in the pipeline, and the new app is just the tip of the iceberg regarding TC’s plans for the TonePrint concept..

‘We have a lot of exciting ideas for the future of TonePrints, not just in terms of new products but also in terms of letting users do more with the products they already have.’

As well as iPhone editing and “under the hood” performance improvements, TC’s developers have completely redesigned the interface and added the possibility of tweaking TC’s own TonePrints to use as templates for personalised tones.
