DHA FX go retail

Devon based builder Dave Hall Amps, long the talk of Internet forums, is to start selling its handmade bass and guitar valve effects through retailers. Previously, DHA pedals were only offered direct.
DHA specialises in traditional valve driven effects, resulting in a noticebly richer, fuller sound, users claim, which means they have found particular favour with bass players who either plug direct into a PA system, or who have opted for light weight switch mode digital bass amps which, while loud on paper, don’t always offer the sound or power the player expects.
The first DHA model intended for the retail market comes in a newly dsigned screen printed metal case and is the VT1-Pro-Bass-Drive at RRP £189.99. A guitar version is on the way, the company says.
