NAMM 2017 saw the launch of Finnish FX maker Darkglass’s Alpha Omega dual voiced bass distortion pedal, which quickly established itself as one of the most talked about top-end bass pedals. Now the manufacturer has announced a smaller, less costly version, the Alpha•Omicron. Sharing the same engine as is used in the Alpha Omega, the new pedal is claimed to offer the same level of harmonically rich, varied textures as its big brother.
