Innovative UK music tech company Sonuus says that its new Loopa microphone, launched via Kickstarter in March 2016, is now shipping and will be available to retailers in time for Christmas.
The Loopa is claimed to be the world’s first microphone that lets the user loop his or her voice and sing over the result. A cardioid condenser mic with a 13 minute switchable looper, the Sonuus Loopa gives users access to a wide range of vocal effects, including overdubs, undo/redo, and bypass, without the need for cables and additional outboard processors. It is aimed at school children and students as well as beatboxers and buskers.
