Cort’s UK distributor, Proel, has just received deliveries of the much anticipated Cort Regal series acoustics. Designed with the serious acoustic player in mind, Cort’s Regal models feature hand matched solid wood tops, Fishman Presys electronics, a range of exotic tonewood options and Cort’s exclusive ‘sonically enhanced’ UV varnish, which the company says offers the protection advantages of a modern varnish without causing the detrimental effects to sound quality sometimes remarked on by purists.
Regal models available include examples with solid cedar or spruce tops in all black or white finishes as well as with Australian blackwood or Madagascar rosewood backs and sides.
Despite the upmarket materials and, Proel says, exemplary construction, RRPs range from £315 to £509.
