Aguilar Amplification and DR Strings have added Chris Clark of the British rock band Hunter & The Bear to their artist rosters.
Chris uses an Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 bass head and DB 410 cabinet and says: ‘Aguilar provides the pure power, tone and reliability I need, whilst accurately representing me as a player. I am hearing parts of my playing I have never truly heard from a bass amp before. It’s amazing, Aguilar is making me a better player’
The double endorsement deal also sees Chris added to the DR Strings artist roster after choosing to play the American string manufacturer’s Sunbeam Round Core Bass strings. Of these he says: ‘DR Bass strings have all the qualities I’m constantly looking for – a brightness of tone and clear note resonance make them my go-to string choice for all my basses.’
Hunter & The Bear has embarked on an extensive travelling schedule with an impressive list of touring merits that include European and US East Coast tours, support performances for Eric Clapton and festival appearances at T in the Park, CarFest and Reading and Leeds festivals. They have earned significant recognition for their exceptional live performances and are currently back on the road in the UK playing nationwide shows this autumn.
Aguilar Amplification and DR Strings are exclusively distributed by Barnes & Mullins in the UK and Ireland.
