Gold Media and Events, organisers of the sell-out UK Drum Show, have today announced the first of several announcements to be made, kicking off all things low-end with Chic’s very own Jerry Barnes and drum power-house Ralph Rolle, taking to the main stage at the launch of The UK Bass Guitar Show in March 2020 – Manchester Central.
“Following the announcement of the launch of The UK Bass Guitar Show a few months ago, and having been invited to the Eden Project for the Nile Rodgers Chic gig, seeing and meeting the guys, as talented musicians, great performers and true entertainers it really was a no brainer to have both Jerry representing all things funk and low-end, and to have Ralph join him, making for a truly musical and entertaining weekend for our guests, states Golding, show organiser.”
“Our goal, not dissimilar to The UK Drum Show, is to simply put on the best national show for our bass brothers and sister, making this a destination and annual event purely dedicated for the art and love of playing bass, for both our exhibitors and show visitors alike”, continues Golding.
“As we count down to March, the significance of a dedicated show for bass grows daily, with further artist and exhibitor announcements to follow”, says Golding. “As an organiser of MI events for almost a decade, at our core, it is always been about 100% dedicated focus. We know our audience, bass players in this instance, we know how to deliver 1st class content, and as illustrated so many times, we are for the long game, building and growing audiences that serve distinctive communities that companies can pin marketing content and strategies to, beyond that of just the weekend.””As always, it is about partnerships and collaboration for mutual success, exposure, and ROI.
