Drummer’s Review, published by Gold Media and Events is celebrating its 100th video review (reviews published weekly since launch) with the Mapex 30th Anniversary Shell Pack.
Launched late 2017 Drummer’s Review has become the stable diet of drummers and percussionists worldwide seeking free and impartial advice. Averaging 86-100,000 views a month, with a quarter of million minutes+ viewed, being achieved every 28 days and climbing, with 3.2 million minutes of drum/percussion reviews observed in just over 2 years.
“The success and growth of DR is down to high production values, that are repeated each and every time, so that drummers can easily compare products and brands”, states publisher Neil Golding of Gold Media and Events, who are also responsible for The UK Drum Show.
“Another key factor with the Drummer’ Review platform is transparency”, as both Nick Carter (on drums) and Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood (presenter), collaborate in stating their findings of each piece of gear submitted for review, if they were themselves the consumer, unboxing the product for the first time; setting it up, tuning where necessary, and then of course, playing it..” says Golding.
Drummer’s Review wishes to thank all of those companies that have stood behind their products for transparent analysis, it is a testament to their belief in creating a product that is open to public scrutiny, and encourages comments and feedback from not only the DR team, but players and future customers worldwide.
Gold Media also publish the more recent review platforms Acoustic Review and Bass Guitar Review, along with live events The UK Drum Show and the forthcoming The UK Bass Guitar Show.
