This updated design eliminates the bridge pickup cover and the surrounding void, maintaining the classic aesthetic of the original assembly. In place of the removed cover, a thumb rest has been added for finger-style players. This revision applies to all 4003 and 4003S models moving forward.
This new design has the same dimensions as the original bridge pickup assembly and is also available separately (with or without pickup), allowing existing 4000 series owners the option to upgrade.
