C.F. Martin has revealed another battery of new products to be unveiled at NAMM 2017, led by a new development in the company’s string range.
Martin’s Titanium Core Strings will feature a titanium core wire, nickel wire wrap and cryogenically treated stainless steel plain strings and the company is promising players: ‘A new level of comfort and response with industry leading stability and superior corrosion resistance’.
Martin is also laying claim to be the USA’s oldest surviving ukulele manufacturer. 2017 will be the 100th anniversary of its first model and to commemorate this, the company will be showing three new models – Style 3 Centennial Uke, Style 1 Centennial Uke and the 0X Uke Bamboo Natural.
Also on show will also be a limited edition Martin Backpacker, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the launch of this innovative guitar and building on the successful X and Road Series line, Martin is introducing three new lower priced models – 00LX1AE, DCRSG and GPCRSG.
