beyerdynamic Introduces New DT 275 PRO

German audio specialist beyerdynamic is expanding its popular PRO series with the new DT 275 PRO headphones. Designed for professional users, they enable quick and reliable sound assessments even in noisy environments. The new on-ear headphones combine high passive sound isolation with a design that makes them a portable and versatile companion. The DT 275 PRO is available now at a price of £99.00 / €119.00.

Raising the bar for passive sound isolation

Audio professionals often need to evaluate audio tracks quickly and in challenging acoustic environments. For example, while monitoring sound on set, working in mobile editing workflows, or carrying out a quick signal check at the mixing desk. Background noise can obscure important audio details, which can affect the quality of production and mixing decisions.

The DT 275 PRO from beyerdynamic is a new monitoring headphone designed specifically to meet these requirements. Thanks to its industry-leading passive noise isolation, the DT 275 PRO enables a reliable assessment of audio signals, even in noisy working environments. FOH engineers, content creators, camera crews and DJs can therefore focus on what matters most: making informed decisions based on clearly audible audio signals, regardless of external distractions.

Designed for intensive production days

Mobile productions place high demands not only on monitoring, but also on comfort and flexibility. This is why the DT 275 PRO has been designed as a compact on-ear model. Weighing less than 200 grams, it remains comfortable to wear even during long sessions. For transport, the ear cups can be swiveled inwards to save space, allowing the headphones to be easily stowed away in production and equipment bags.

The cable connection on both sides offers additional flexibility. The connection cable can be attached to either the left or right ear cup and securely locked in place. This keeps it safely connected even during rapid movements in live or production settings. At the same time, the cable route can be adapted to the specific workflow, ensuring that the cable does not run unnecessarily through the workspace. This reduces potential sources of interference and ensures consistently reliable monitoring throughout the entire production process.

No need for compromises with the DT 275 PRO

The new on-ear headphones are made from robust materials, making them ideal for everyday use in demanding professional settings where audio equipment undergoes heavy use. High-quality faux leather ear pads and a soft, flexible headband provide a high level of comfort, even during prolonged use. All cushion components can be easily replaced and reordered. This allows production teams to comply with hygiene regulations and significantly extend the headphones’ lifespan.

“The DT 275 PRO is a compact monitoring solution that excels in a variety of settings, including on set, at the FOH desk, on the side stage and in the DJ booth,” explains Martin Stahl, Director of PRO Audio Products. “Until now, many professional users had to choose between high sound isolation, neutral sound and a compact, portable design. With the DT 275 PRO, we have combined these different requirements in a single product for the first time. The result is a pair of portable headphones that provide reliable audio decisions even in challenging environments.”
