Overview

Compact design meets studio clarity

The microAUDIO series brings KORG’s studio-grade engineering straight to your desktop, with two Audio Interface models designed for different types of creators.

The streamlined microAUDIO 22 delivers pure, essential performance with a clean and intuitive layout. It is ideal for beginners and hobbyists who want high-quality audio without unnecessary complexity.

The hybrid microAUDIO 722 takes creativity further by integrating KORG’s legendary analogue filter. It creates a rich, expressive tone that blurs the line between interface and instrument, giving artists a way to shape sound that digital processing alone cannot replicate

Compact form. Premium sound.

MicroAUDIO offers a pristine, open sound with a strong sense of depth and generous headroom in a compact, desktop-ready design. Studio-grade preamps are tuned for musical gain with minimal noise, prioritising clarity while avoiding excess circuitry. Both models support 24-bit/192kHz audio and include balanced inputs and outputs for high-quality recording and playback. From detailed vocal work to layering synthesisers or performing live, every nuance is faithfully captured.

Intuitive, hands-on control for creative flow

Each channel of the microAUDIO series features versatile Mic, Line, and Hi-Z inputs with 48V phantom power, plus assignable Noise Gate, Compressor, and Limiter for smooth, musical gain with minimal noise. Front-panel knobs provide direct access to essential functions, and zero-latency direct monitoring ensures immediate feedback during recording or live performance. The Stereo Link function allows both channels to be controlled simultaneously with a single knob, making it ideal for stereo synthesizers and other paired sources. This workflow keeps the technical side simple so you can stay focused on creating.

Ready for streaming and mobile creation

Built-in loopback mode sends computer audio directly into your livestream or DAW without complicated routing. This is ideal for streaming, sampling, or capturing content on the fly. With USB-C connectivity, microAUDIO works seamlessly with smartphones and tablets, making it easy to create or stream from anywhere. Whether recording at home, performing on stage, or streaming online, the microAUDIO series adapts to your workflow and delivers consistent, professional sound.

microAUDIO 22

Essential and effortless

microAUDIO 22 focuses on what matters most: clean, reliable sound with a straightforward interface. It is the perfect choice for beginners, hobbyists, and creators who value simplicity without compromise.

microAUDIO 722

Where analog defines the edge

The microAUDIO 722 incorporates the iconic analogue filter from the miniKORG 700S, known for its warm, musical response. It can be used as a standalone analogue filter or integrated directly into your DAW setup, adding unique tonal shaping possibilities. Connect a guitar or bass to use it as an auto-wah effect, or route digital synthesisers through it to introduce classic analogue motion and character.

The filter includes Low-Pass, High-Pass, and Bypass modes and can process inputs as well as any audio played back from a connected computer.

With MIDI In/Out connectivity, you can automate the filter, synchronise with external hardware, and explore creative hybrid workflows that blend digital precision with the miniKORG 700S’s distinctive analog behaviour.

Filter Ark

The heart of creative sound design

Bundled exclusively with microAUDIO, Filter Ark is KORG’s next-generation filter plugin for DAW-based production.

It faithfully reproduces legendary analog filters from the MS-20, Polysix, miniKORG 700S, and ARP Odyssey, while introducing new models such as physically modelled resonators and vowel-based filters.

With up to four filters routable in series, parallel, or feedback configurations, plus morphable LFOs, sequencers, and macros for advanced modulation, Filter Ark turns filtering into a creative instrument.

Scale quantisation and performance-ready presets ensure every movement is musical, unlocking expressive sound design far beyond traditional filtering.

Software bundle for instant creation

In addition to Filter Ark, microAUDIO includes a complete software suite with instruments and production tools such as Ableton Live Lite, Native Instruments Komplete Select, and iZotope Ozone Elements. This covers everything from composition and recording to mixing and mastering.

You can begin creating immediately.
