Roland announces BRIDGE CAST ONE, the latest addition to the company’s BRIDGE CAST family of online gaming and livestreaming products. BRIDGE CAST ONE offers core series features in a compact desktop interface with streamlined multi-function controls. Users can gain a competitive advantage with dual bus mixes, vocal transformer effects, fast-access presets, and support for a broadcast-grade mic and headphones. For even more control, the companion BRIDGE CAST app offers extended audio tools plus royalty-free background music and sound effects through BGM CAST on Roland Cloud.
BRIDGE CAST ONE is a powerful desktop connection hub that allows streamers to simplify their setups and improve their content with professional Roland sound. It offers a scaled-down footprint and focused controls while retaining the primary audio features of the larger BRIDGE CAST and BRIDGE CAST X models. Onboard DSP handles the audio load, letting users dedicate their computer’s power to gaming and streaming.
BRIDGE CAST ONE users can easily create independent sound mixes for personal monitoring and online streaming. The personal mix can prioritize game audio and voice chat, while the stream mix can be optimized for maximum viewer engagement. The XLR input features a high-quality preamp with ample gain and selectable phantom power for broadcast-grade mics, eliminating the need for an external level-boosting device.
The BRIDGE CAST ONE panel offers a simplified workflow with a large control dial, five buttons, and a dedicated headphone level control. Pressing the dial cycles through three different level control assignments, while the three buttons below can be assigned to operate many different functions. The additional two buttons provide fast access to voice transformer and Game EQ on/off and preset selection.
The companion BRIDGE CAST app unlocks deeper features for more real-time control while streaming. Users can adjust mic settings, apply audio processing, tweak voice transformer settings, set up Game EQ presets, and more.
BRIDGE CAST ONE provides 5.1 or 7.1 virtual surround sound for headphones and stereo speaker systems, powered by advanced Roland technology. Computer audio is converted to virtual surround sound via the USB connection, providing a powerful and immersive sound experience with virtual speaker adjustment using the BRIDGE CAST app. This feature will also be added to the BRIDGE CAST and BRIDGE CAST X models with an upcoming system update.
BGM CAST extends the powerful tools in the BRIDGE CAST app with direct access to a high-quality, royalty-free music library. A free Roland Account provides dozens of background music tracks and sound effects to use at no charge. Signing up for Roland Cloud Core membership through the app unlocks thousands of additional music tracks and hundreds of sound effects, with new selections added each month.
Roland is excited to announce its presence at TwitchCon San Diego 2024, which will be held September 20–22 at the San Diego Convention Center in California. Roland will have a dedicated booth at this premier event for the gaming industry, where attendees can get hands-on experience with the new BRIDGE CAST ONE and other BRIDGE CAST products.
