Gold Media & Events Ltd, publishers of Music Instrument News, organisers of The UK Drum Show, along with various consumer review sites, are pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Williams to a Sales & Support role within the company.
Williams, a former high street retail business partner/owner, with over 20+ years in sales and management, will assist with maintaining contact with existing and new customers, across media and events, along with assisting both short-term and long-term goals Gold Media has planned.
“Being a small business, having worked alongside Pete in a previous management role for several years, gives me great confidence when it comes to him representing our company and me personally,” states Neil Golding, director of Gold Media. ”
“We had begun with expanding our team in January 2020, which was short lived due to the pandemic, and then it was a case of finding the right person and starting the process over. In the past few months since Pete joined us, we have begun with renewing our website offerings, with the recent and ongoing refresh and update of Music Instrument News, of which we are thrilled that Pete has welcomed new business to the platform in his short time with us to date”. Golding continues, “Music Instrument News is just the start of further updates across various platforms, to promote and champion all things MI”.
Following the recent overhaul of MIN, plans are afoot for increasing opportunities for businesses to add video campaigns to existing or new packages to increase content engagement, and Gold Media are pleased to introduce this on the new Music Instrument News site presently, with ‘competitive rates’, which will be rolled out elsewhere over the coming months.
“As a music lover and live music fan, I am thrilled to join forces with a former friend and business colleague in an industry that I am confident I will enjoy,” says Peter Williams . I have been most grateful for the warm reception I have received to date from many of the customers that Neil has had relationships with years. I should say at this point that Neil is not handing over the batten, but recognises for growth and general improvement and direction with what GM wishes to achieve, his attention will be focused more so on how what we offer our existing customers and new customers are relevant and the user, visitor or exhibitor experience continues to attract a wider and growing audience”.
For drum and percussion businesses that are not exhibiting at The UK Drum Show 2023, Pete and Neil will be in attendance over the weekend of September 30th & 1st October at he ACC Liverpool. Companies that are considering exhibiting for 2024 are very welcome to contact them on organiser@theukdrumshow.com for the guided tour.
