UK Drum Show Passes Previous Ticket Sales as April 2022 Show Dates Approaches

Organisers of The UK Drum Show are thrilled to announce, with its return after two years of postponement due to COVID19, that consumer ticket sales have not only now surpassed its 2019 attendance figures of over 4,300 guests across the weekend, but continue to be purchased daily with still over two months to go.

“We are truly grateful to both the trade and our ticket purchasing guests alike, for their support these past 2 years, along with manoeuvring with us to the larger venue at the ACC Liverpool. Due to their unwavering support will be the reasons they reap the benefits when the show returns this April and for this, we are truly grateful. The move has allowed us to increase our capacity limits and enable both new domestic and international brands to display their products in our largest exhibition hall yet, along with several regular exhibitors expanding their foot-print,” states show organiser Neil Golding.

“Whilst respecting current COVID19 restrictions and legislation, which continues to ease, as we approach our show dates, our guests and exhibitors health and safety is paramount. With the larger venue at the ACC Liverpool, having had over 30,000 guests attend a Christmas fair in December 2021, further lessons and best practices are being learned to ensure a safe return of our events for early spring 2022.”

Golding continues, “as we celebrate the milestone achieved, as our industry continues to battle through the challenges of the past two years, with light at the end of the tunnel, our commitment and efforts to recreate and build an equally quality event for the future with our expansion, adding acoustic, bass and electric products to our neighbouring guitar hall, along with Live Stage performances to attract further musicians and bands continues.”

“Tickets continue to be purchased for our new guitar hall which debuts in April over the same weekend as the drum show, 2 & 3 April, with guests and bands being able to move freely between both buildings at the cost of either a general day or weekend admission ticket for any one show, delivering excellent value for money.”

“Like our drum show partners of several years, we are prepared to match investment with investment, to grow and build an annual UK event for the guitar sector and we invite directors, brands owners and distributors to join us and bring their brands to our show this April,”Golding concludes.
