British Drum Co Welcomes Manic Street Preachers’ Drummer Sean Moore

Sean Moore, drummer with the legendary Welsh rock band Manic Street Preachers, has joined the growing British Drum Co. family of artists.

Sean is a founding member of the Manics and has played on every single and album release, since the band began in 1986.

Mel Stewart, Brand Development Manager at British Drum Co., says, “Everyone here at BDC is thrilled at the announcement that Sean has chosen to play our drums. The Manics are a legendary band with a reputation for excellence and we cannot stress how cool it is that Sean wants to be part of our artist family”.

Sean is delighted with his decision to join BDC. “I have been watching the growth of the brand and been hugely impressed by the quality of the drums. I have heard so many good things about British Drum Co. so I thought it was time to check it out for myself and I have been blown away by the exceptional build quality, the awesome sound of the drums, and the attention to every detail. I am very happy with my new Legend kit!”

Keith Keough, CEO of British Drum Co. is equally proud of Sean joining the BDC artist family. Keith explains, “Sean is a fantastic guy with a stellar reputation as the powerhouse drummer with one of the most instantly recognisable bands around. It is an honour to have Sean on board with BDC.”

British Drum Co. Managing Director, Al Murray, added, “It is such a thrill to be able to welcome Sean Moore to the British Drum Co. artist family. What can you say about the Manics that hasn’t already been said? Powerful, emotive anthems with an authenticity, integrity and poetry that resonate with all generations – great to have you on our team Sean!”

British Drum Co., which launched in September 2015, was founded by master drum maker Keith Keough; Kasabian drummer Ian Matthews; top-level marching specialist Stu Warmington; and award winning comedian and drum enthusiast Al Murray, aka The Pub  Landlord. The ranks expanded when in 2017 The Verve &Charlatans drummer, Pete Salisbury, joined the company.
