New DB 599 Bass Compressor pedal from Aguilar Amplification

Aguilar Amplification are delighted to announce a new addition to their pedal range – the DB 599 Bass Compressor.

The Aguilar DB 599 Bass Compressor gives bassists the ability to control their dynamics in a simple and compact format. Tailored around the specific needs of bass players, the DB 599 utilises musically appropriate compression ratios and attack / release parameters to make dialling in natural compressed tones a breeze. Users simply add in the desired amount of compression with the COMP knob, use the GAIN control to adjust the volume, and take their bass sound to the next level.

Following in the footsteps of Aguilar’s 2020 release – the DB 925 Bass Preamp – the new DB 599 Bass Compressor employs the same space saving micro housing design for a lightweight and compact addition to any bass pedalboard.

Powered by a 9V DC battery with an optional 9V power supply also available, the DB 599 features a gig-saver bypass to ensure that signal passes through it even in the event of the battery dying.

Its heavy-duty steel construction and responsive controls mean the DB 599 is the perfect gigging solution for bassists on the go. With its studio-quiet nature leaving no artefacts, it also serves as the perfect studio companion.

The new Aguilar DB 599 Bass Compressor is perfect for bassists seeking a no-fuss, easy-to-dial-in way to add compression to their signal chain without altering the character of their bass or sacrificing their low-end.

With a retail price of £220.00, the Aguilar DB 599 is available to order now exclusively through UK distributors Barnes & Mullins –
