Entire Rotosound String Range Now Available As Single Strings

Iconic British string manufacturer Rotosound is now offering individual strings from product lines that were previously only available in full sets. For the first time players are now able to obtain individual strings from every Rotosound string set including British Steel, Pure Nickel, polymer- coated Nexus, and powerful Ultramag guitar and bass sets.

Guitarists and bassists can now select individual strings from all of the historic music company’s sets in the same way that they have been able to with their popular Roto nickel coated guitar strings and Swing Bass 66; the original roundwound bass string. Musicians who enjoy experimenting with custom gauges and altered tunings can now benefit from a wider range of materials and tonal options to fit their style.

All Rotosound strings are sold in air-tight packaging that provides an unparalleled moisture barrier ensuring strings will not tarnish or fade before opening, keeping them factory fresh ready for use.

Single strings are supplied in standard gauges from Rotosound’s sets and will be available immediately from Rotosound dealers worldwide.

Started in 1958 by James How, an engineer who made strings for his own instruments, Rotosound became known around the world for its superior quality products and famous endorsees such as Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and Queen to name just a few. The Who’s John Entwistle started a long partnership with James and helped develop the Swing Bass roundwound strings which have become the industry standard.

Gathering the most prominent artists over the following decades from Jaco Pastorius to The Edge, Oasis to Guthrie Govan, Rotosound has been the go-to string for every music generation.
