During the UK lockdown period, Tanglewood Guitars have been supporting their network of dealers by shipping goods to consumers on their behalf in the temporary Direct to Door initiative.
By making their website transactional for a limited period, hundreds of their dealers have benefitted from instrument and accessory sales even when their store has remained closed, especially for those that had no existing e-commerce site.
From June 15th, with many shops finally being allowed to reopen, Tanglewoods temporary sales site and the Direct to Door service will cease, and from Thursday 11th June onwards the Tanglewood website will revert back to being information only.
Tanglewood are encouraging consumers across all their media platforms to visit their community stores and try and get back to some kind of normality, with directly supporting their local MI retailer.
Tanglewood’s sales office can process any stock orders that a store needs and we will maintain their Drop Shipping service to consumers for all retailers for the next few weeks at least, or as long as there is a demand for that function.
“We are very happy that we can say we reacted quickly and played a significant role in trying to fundamentally help retailers in a time of crisis and we look forward with positivity to the future and wish all our partners a successful return to trading business,” states Tanglewood.
