Dexibell, the ambitious Italian keyboard brand that rose from the ashes of the former Roland Italy operation, is moving to CUK Audio for distribution in the UK and ROI.
Although Dexibell remains a part of Proel, distribution is moving from Proel UK to CUK Audio, where it will be in the care of former Yamaha sales and marketing man, Steve Barton (pictured, centre).
According to Dexibell business unit director, Fulvio Pesenti, CUK Audio is the ideal partner to take Dexibell to the next level in the UK. ‘It is imperative for us, as a new brand, to ensure that we work with a specialised and focused team,’ he said. ‘It is for this reason that we have made the decision to switch distribution of Dexibell in the UK to an independent distribution company, and we are convinced that CUK Audio, and especially Steve Barton, are the right fit for us. Under Steve’s management, CUK’s retail sales division has gone from strength to strength, and his previous experience with Yamaha Music where he was responsible for the sales, marketing and product launches of several significant keyboard and synth products means that he understands our needs perfectly,’ continued Pesenti. ‘As such, we are confident that CUK Audio will be the perfect business partner for Dexibell in the UK & Ireland, with a deep technical knowledge, and a thorough understanding of the digital piano and keyboard market.’
MI retail channel sales manager, Steve Barton, adds: ‘I am really looking forward to taking on the Dexibell brand and meeting the dealer network, old and new. With a committed focus, enhanced UK-specific artist and marketing work, some great incoming products and vital dealer training, we at CUK Audio are 100% behind Dexibell’s passion and plans for the future. As a piano player myself, and experienced keyboard brand manager I can verify that the sound, technology and attention to detail throughout the Dexibell product range is simply out of this world, and I relish the opportunity to take this great brand to the next level.’
