New VGS Pro Arte classical guitars from GEWA

GEWA has expanded its Pro Arte series with the addition of CM Maestro models. The European-produced classical guitars are available in five sizes, have solid cedar tops and mahogany backs, sides and necks. The water-based, ecologically compatible paint is open pored and therefore very thin, GEWA says, which ensures an open sound and low weight. The guitars are strung with Hannabach 815 strings, and the use of acacia wood for the fretboard and bridge means that the CM Maestro models are not subjected to CITES guidelines. The prices vary, depending on the size, between €215 and €243.
