Faith gets (even more) naked

Faith Guitars has expanded its acoustic guitar range to include unique ‘Black Stain’ and ‘Cedar/Mahogany’ versions of the popular OM Cutaway/Auditorium ‘Venus’ and a larger baby-jumbo ‘Neptune’ shapes.

Black Stain models feature solid Engelmann spruce tops with solid Indonesian mahogany back and sides, enhanced by a hand-rubbed ‘thru black’ stain finish, accentuating the unique grain of each model. Cedar/mahogany models combine solid cedar tops with solid Indonesian mahogany back and sides for an exciting tonewood twist that results in a darker, mellower tone, Faith says.

‘In line with all other Faith Naked guitars, each guitar is stripped of all non-essential decoration for a natural charm that allows the tonewood to be almost entirely unrestricted in its resonant movement – resulting in a superior tone delivery,’ the company adds.

Additional features include mahogany necks, Indonesian ebony fingerboards, bridges and pins as well as special black precision chrome machine heads to complement the darker aesthetics. Each guitar is fitted with on-board Fishman electronics in the form of Isys-T systems on Venus models and discreet Sonitone soundhole systems on non-cutaway Neptune models – each combined with Fishman Sonicore undersaddle pickups.

All new Faith Naked Black Stain and Cedar/Mahogany guitars retail from £449.
