Alex Van Halen snare Drums now in UK

Active Music has announced that one of the first highly sought-after Alex Van Halen snare drums will be on show at The UK Drum Show in Manchester this coming weekend (23rd – 24th September. www.theukdrumshow.com).
Only 200 snares worldwide are going to be available to honour Ludwig’s first ever Signature Series Supraphonic Snare. These are replicas of Alex Van Halen’s 2015 Supraphonic Snare Drum that was designed and custom built by his drum tech John Douglas.
Each aluminium shell has custom grinding by John Doulas himself to create one-off finishes ensuring that no two AVH snare drums are alike.
Active says it has just a couple of examples remaining unsold from its UK allocation.
