Faith expands Blood Moon series

Faith Guitars has added two new instruments to sit alongside its award-winning Venus Blood Moon acoustic model – a baby-jumbo ‘Neptune’ and a dreadnought ‘Saturn’.
Featuring solid Javanese high-figure trembesi tonewoods for the top, back and sides and stained with a deep-red burst finish, the Venus Blood Moon made an immediate impact in its release in late 2015 and went on to be voted the ‘UK’s Best Acoustic Guitar 2016’.
Also made from trembesi, the new Faith Neptune E/Cut Blood Moon (RRP £949) features a Fishman INK3 onboard pre-amp system. The Saturn (RRP £829) is an all acoustic instrument.
Describing the instruments, Faith says: ‘Tonally, trembesi tonewood reacts in a similar way to mahogany or Hawaiian koa with mahogany-like mids complimented by a harmonically powerful treble. Both new Blood Moon models are matched to solid flamed maple bindings, ebony fittings and Faith hardcases.
