Summer NAMM – steady as she goes

Summer NAMM, held at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee last week, attracted 14,284 visitors, according to figures released by the Association on Monday – a 2 % increase over 2016. International attendees grew by14% over 2016, and nearly 28% growth over 2015, though the number of international buyers was ‘comparable’ to 2016, NAMM Says.
The show hosted 1,650 brands presented by 505 total exhibitors, comparable to 2016, but representing a 2% increase over 2015.
NAMM’s next event will be the 2018 NAMM Show, scheduled for 25-28th January in Anaheim, when the show will occupy a new 100,000 square foot building and will see the roll-out of NAMM’s ambitious expansion plans, including alliances with ESTA, AES and others, new exhibitors in the lighting, live sound and event technologies areas, as well as new networking opportunities and events, such as the Parnelli Awards: ‘designed to serve the crossroads of the industry’.
