Korg debuts Grandstage Stage Piano

The launch of Korg’s new Grandstage Stage Piano, a Japanese-made, pro-class, stage electronic piano, is being billed as: ‘the birth of a masterpiece for a new generation’ by its maker.

Offering seven sound engines, the Grandstage  features the SGX-2 with its six acoustic pianos, plus the EP-1, CX-3, VOX, Compact, AL-1, and HD-1.

Korg says particular emphasis has been placed on making the Grandstage usable in a live environment. The user interface is designed for playability on stage. reverb and delay are easy to control, there’s a Dynamics knob that lets the user instantly control the sound’s crispness and expressivity, favourite buttons provide instantly recall of particular sounds and what Korg describes as ‘Smooth sound transition creates a natural-feeling change when you switch sounds’.

Three-band equalizer lets you shape your sound.

Layer/split capability lets you easily combine sounds.

Panel lock prevents unintended operation.

RH3 keyboard responds to even the subtlest nuances of your playing.

Design that combines both elegance and individuality.

Music rest, pedal, and keyboard stand are included.
