Pearl has announced changes to its European team. Sho Inatomi, Senior Marketing Manager at Pearl Music Europe (PME) has returned to Pearl Headquarters in Japan to take up a new role as Global Marketing Director for the entire Pearl Group.
In his place, Pearl has appointed Thomas Franke as the new European Marketing Manager. Franke will be responsible for the co-ordination and strengthening of the company’s marketing department.
Franke has worked in the music business for over 30 years, being with Pearl’s marketing team for the past decade, as both Artist Relations & Promotions Manager and as European Product Manager.
Also on the move is Richard Steinbusch, European Sales Manager, who will henceforth be in charge of all European Sales Operations. Together with Thomas Franke he will form the Senior Sales and Marketing Management Leading Team.
Pearl says: ‘Together they will take the lead in maintaining the ideal of Total Customer Satisfaction and fulfilling PME’s mission to be the highest performing Pan European Musical instrument Distribution Company.
‘Pearl believes that this bundling of skills and the forthcoming synergy effect of this new team will strengthen and improve PME’s position in the current market place.’
