Stranglers’ drummer joins Dream cymbals roster

Jim Macaulay, drummer for veteran New Wave band The Stranglers, is the latest high-profile percussionist to join the Dream Cymbals artist roster in the U.K.

Formerly of Birmingham rock band Envy & Other Sins with session appearances under his belt for I Blame Coco and Emmy The Great, Macaulay joins Louise Bartle of Bloc Party and Dominic Greensmith from Reef as part of the Dream cymbals artist team.

The Stranglers recently celebrated their 40th anniversary and will be touring extensively around the world in 2017.

The band stormed the singles charts to reach #2 in 1982 with ‘Golden Brown’, matching that position with albums ‘No More Heroes’ and ‘Black And White’, all of which achieved Gold status.

Dream cymbals are designed in Canada and handmade and hand-hammered from B20 bronze. They are distributed in the UK by SVM Percussion.
