Fibonacci Guitars, the new UK guitar company that has risen from the ashes of Peerless UK, has announced an attractive and up-market Jazz guitar – the Chiquita Deluxe.
Fibonacci’s Chiquita features a compact body (450 x 76 mm) with a hand carved, 30mm, AAA solid select American spruce sound-board and hand carved solid flame maple back & sides. Fitted with a one-piece flame maple neck, the fingerboard, finger-rest, floating bridge & tailpiece are all in Indian ebony and the guitar sports a single Kent Armstrong ‘Smooth Sam’ pickup and gold Gotoh machine heads. It is also finished in nitro-cellulose lacquer.
Fibonacci says: ‘Completely hand wired in shielded, steel braided cable for increased performance and stability, and fitted with a black floating, Smooth Sam Kent Armstrong humbucker, and black cosmo Gotoh SGS510Z tuners complementing the Chiquita Deluxe perfectly. This striking archtop produces wonderful warm, crisp tones and is finished in natural blonde with solid maple binding and nitro cellulose lacquer’.
