D’Addario UK has announced the appointment of Adam Ironside as D’Addario Fretted Specialist.
A guitarist for over 15 years, Adam has independently released two albums as well as appearing on several high profile TV shows, including Sky Arts’ “Guitar Star”. Having gained three professional music qualifications, culminating in a (BA) Music degree from Newcastle University, Adam worked in the financial sector whilst continuing to further his music career by managing an online music magazine and teaching music theory and guitar.
Reporting to Matt Hickman, D‘Addario European Marketing Manager, D’Addario says: ‘Adam will provide the essential link between dealers and consumers, and D’Addario fretted strings and accessories. He is tasked with building an extensive dealer training programme, delivering essential new product information to the market, expanding our merchandising capabilities and becoming the point person for D’Addario fretted products in the UK.
‘This new position is vital to our strategic goal of growing our market share in the UK. We are confident that Adam’s skills and attributes will be invaluable in this effort’.
