Ibanez set for Musikmesse 2017 ‘Brandworld’ return.

Musikmesse 2017 is set to see the expansion of last year’s ‘Drum Camp’ concept into a new idea the organisers are calling ‘Bradworld’ and which has just secured the return of Ibanez following a one year break.

‘It is very important for Ibanez that there is a high-profile trade fair for music and musicians in Europe. Musikmesse’s ‘Brandworld’ concept has convinced us to be part of Musikmesse once again. We are looking forward to presenting our Ibanez artists at Musikmesse to an appreciative audience,’ says Hannes Auerochs, Brand Manager for Ibanez at Roland Meinl Musikinstrumente GmbH. ‘It is important for musicians to share their experiences and knowledge and to discuss their instrumental skills with other musicians. Musikmesse makes this possible and is the ideal social ‘meet and greet’ destination.’

‘In the digital age, the demands made on a modern marketing and trading platform are changing – both for exhibiting companies and for visitors. As trade-fair organisers, we react to these changes with new events and approaches: the ‘Brandworld’ concept at Musikmesse creates an opportunity for brands in the musical industry to promote themselves efficiently and effectively, while, at the same time, teaching people about their products and brands – as well as being able to welcome retailers and musicians in a very pleasant and attractive environment,” says Michael Biwer, Group Show Director of the Entertainment, Media & Creative Industries Division at Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH. ‘The positive response from the sector, which we got in the early stages of our discussions, as well as the participation of Ibanez, one of the top brands in the guitar world, both show that we are on the right track with our investment in this new feature.’

As part of Musikmesse’s ‘Brandworld’ concept, there will be appearances by world famous artists in acoustically separated areas – added to which there will be exciting lectures and demonstrations of instruments. All-inclusive packages, comprising stand construction, catering, organisational and other services, make it easier than ever before for exhibitors to promote themselves and their products effectively. Messe Frankfurt will be issuing further details of the Musikmesse ‘Brandworld’ shortly.

Musikmesse 2017 will take place from 5 to 8 April. Info: www.musikmesse.com
