The UK Drum Show, which saw its return to the ACC Liverpool earlier this year after two years of delays due to COVID, is now well underway to be the biggest gathering of drum exhibits in the history of the show for 2023.
Neil Golding, show organiser of The UK Drum Show says, “with just over 12 months to go (September 30th & 1st October 2023) this much loved event is to return to Liverpool and things are looking very positive as companies plan ahead for next September.” “Next September for many, will feel more like pre-COVID times and with some companies being unable to join us this year we have seen a positive uptake from absent brands returning, along with companies that had a positive experience this year upscaling and expanding booth space; its a HUGE positive after the past few years of doubt and caution finally making way, whilst challenging, for more positive times.”

Asked why The UK Drum Show continues to be successful and well attended, Golding replies, “It is the community – quite simply, which has been used so many times when referring to drummers and the respective drumming and percussion brands. Over the years from the early days of the London Drum Show, to Manchester and now to Liverpool with The UK Drum Show our exhibitor participation has increased. What I mean by this is that they understand that it is not simply the case of turning up and displaying their wears, but a growing level of engagement, which our exhibiting partners go to great effort in communicating with their own audiences both pre and post show with their activities. Whilst the show is only two days, like our exhibitors, they/we have customers and an online audience all year round and communication to consumers from our exhibitors and ourselves is what drives the growth and the success it has become. Putting aside the loyal following of our smaller to medium size exhibitors, who are great at communicating with their audiences of their attendance and experience at the show, the likes of Vic Firth, Zildjian, Paiste, Roland, Meinl, Mapex, Tama, Remo and so on, have millions of followers that they can speak with instantly about their attendance at The UK Drum Show. If you add up the social reach, let alone direct email marketing of 60+ companies representing over 100+ brands the reach is millions and we only need a small percentage combined with local and national marketing to assure a growing and enthusiastic audience – every company benefits both directly and indirectly by attracting and informing their respective audiences – everybody wins!”
“For 2023 we are pleased to welcome back Sonor Drums, along with electronic drum builders Alesis and Roland who were sorely missed from this years exhibition. Returning exhibitors Headstock Distribution representing Tama, Zildjian and Aquarian have doubled their floor space for next year, with some assumption of Zildjian’s 400th Anniversary.” Korg UK representing Vic Firth, Mapex and Paiste return along with neighbouring partner Drumazon with Drumaoke, a hugely popular and well subscribed activity over the weekend. Furthermore, new features including “How to Hybrid” hosted by Jobeky Electronic Drums, Drum Tuning sponsored by Remo, plus a whole host of other content to attract and satisfy our guests over the weekend are still to be announced.” Golding concludes.
