The Guitar Show (held in Birmingham last weekend, 23rd & 24th February) has been hailed as the biggest and most successful yet by visitors, exhibitors and the show’s organiser, reinforcing its position as the UK’s biggest guitar show. Social media comments on Sunday and Monday from visitors were enthusiastic, with the number and variety of smaller UK brands, live performances and the famous Bingley Hall curry being singled out for special praise.
Show organiser Jason Hunt told MIN that he estimated an increase of about eight per cent in this year’s attendance – including a ten per cent growth in advance ticket sales – and with a healthy growth in the number and variety of exhibitors, something also commented on by visitors.
Hunt particularly praised the artist appearances and added his tribute to the number of smaller British makers who had taken part this year, adding that he had noticed the show visitors’ enthusiasm for them.
Next year’s show is already confirmed, again being held at the New Bingley Hall, Birmingham on 29th February and 1st March 2020.
