Yamaha set to shine at Manchester’s UK Drum Show 2018

The biggest brand in MI, Yamaha, heads North this September, joining the growing list of exhibitors at The UK Drum Show, being held once again at Manchester Central, on 29th and 30th September.

In addition to Yamaha’s world renowned acoustic drums, the company will be demonstrating its revolutionary EAD electronic acoustic drum module, launched in November 2017, in Paris.

‘Yamaha Drums are proud to be a part of this year’s UK Drum Show where we will not only be showcasing our hero products, but invite you on a virtual tour with Steve Gadd, as well as allow you to discover the new EAD System, the acoustic electronic drum module instantly transforms your acoustic drum kit into a powerful digital/electronic hybrid with sampled sounds and studio quality digital effects, see it to believe it,’ says Yamaha UK.

In addition to the company’s exhibition booth, Yamaha will be featuring a dedicated Experience Room, where visitors can speak with product experts and learn more of the latest technologies and innovations.

Also announced in recent weeks to the legions of the UK Drum Shows’ followers on social media are Meinl, Evans and Vic Firth artist Josh Dion, who promises to bring a whole new experience to the main stage this year with his unique drums, keyboard and amazing vocals. He joins fellow artist,  funk legend Derrick McKenzie of Jamiroquai, who will appear in the Mike Dolbear master class room.

‘Progress for year two of the show is going well,’ says Neil Golding, show organiser. ‘We are pleased to welcome back exhibitors from last year as well as being able to offer show visitors new brands and experiences with the likes of Yamaha, DeBroize Drums, Soundproofing Expert, Soundhoops from Germany and Black Swamp Percussion from the US. Tickets sales are already well up on last year, which is to be expected for year two, and we will have some further great announcements next week with further major brands and artists.
